I am a Health and Safety Professional with extensive experience in the Food Manufacturing Sector. I have an ability to communicate across all levels of an organisation and this has resulted in achievements such as: Reduction in premiums by reducing injury rate and and improving return to work rates. Leading effective risk assessment and incident investigation teams. Developing preventative solutions in a consultative manner. Improving management systems. Recently I have been most proud of my role in the PepsiCo Laverton North site. I am passionate about the Health Safety and Well-being of employees and have relevant experience developing Health and Safety Management Systems. I also have had tertiary training in education which was a major part of my role at Don Smallgoods GWF. Some examples of initiatives I have managed and delivered are: Closure of the Don Smallgoods Altona site. All equipment relocated to the Castlemaine site had to be brought up to Australian Standards. Rolling out Management systems. Putting together a team to develop and roll out a traffic management plan. I am eager to apply the skills and experiences obtained within the FMCG manufacturing sector to other organisations, where I can contribute to meaningful and potentially lifesaving work.
