Natalie Moore

After completing a BScArch, BHonsArch and a MArch(Prof) at the University of Pretoria I went on to do my candidacy at a medium sized practice where I was exposed to a variety of clients and projects ranging from renovations to stadiums. This stood me in good stead to open my own practice after registering as a Professional Architect. I have always had a special connection to building and landscape. Coming from a long line of building professionals and an upbringing very close to nature and our beautiful country, has engendered a strong sense of awe and reverence to how we dwell within our environments.My continuing search for how to best adapt to our environment has taken me to Masterclasses in Australia, Dublin and Morocco. I have learned invaluable lessons from the forerunners in sustainable architecture, such as Glenn Murcutt and Juhani Palasmaa, and have tried to implement these into my practice.Although I have a brilliant team who assist me on larger projects I always maintain a direct connection to my clients, thus giving them continuity throughout the project. I have an intuitive talent for renovations and restorations which I try to optimize with sustainable systems. My current projects range from renovations and new residential homes to tenant installations and interiors.... I make people’s dreams come true and it is the best feeling in the world.
