I am a professional with 20+ years of experience in corporate accounting, finance, and management consulting. I hold an MBA, an MS in Accounting, and a BS in Applied Mathematics. Currently, I work for Host Hotels & Resorts, an S&P 500 and Fortune 500 company and the largest lodging real estate investment trust. I ensure that results for hotel operations of a portfolio of 27 luxury and upper-scale hotels under my responsibility are presented in an accurate manner and comply with lodging industry requirements. In the past, I worked as a consultant for Deloitte where I started my career in Management Consulting and eventually moved to Corporate Finance. I focused on financial advisory work including business valuation engagements and pre-acquisition due diligence performed for banks, investment companies and private equity funds. I also performed market and industry research and financial modeling for financial reporting and strategic planning purposes.
