Natasha Lahera

Originally from Las Vegas, I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, with a pre-law degree in political science and international relations. Picking up where I left off in 2008, I will begin law school at Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles in August of 2023. While in school, I will continue to nurture my thriving real estate practice with the help of an experienced co-agent. Though my interest in law existed from an early age, I chose not to commit to the profession right away. Instead, I focused on my childhood passion of singing and spent most of my early professional life preparing myself for a career in the arts. Seeking to explore my professional options and stay afloat in between gigs, I worked a number of survival jobs, one of which ultimately led me to both L.A. And to real estate when I accepted a part-time job as a real estate assistant in L.A. After a friend offered me a place to stay. Once there, I engrained myself in the office culture, eventually accepting a full-time job with the brokerage as a listing coordinator and working my way up to lead transaction coordinator. Inspired by the success stories around me, I decided to pursue my sales license. I later assisted a top-producing Westside agent before joining large, well-known real estate teams. I have now been helping my buyers win bidding wars and my sellers determine the strongest offers to accept for nearly 5 years. I am knowledgeable in virtually all of LA, but primarily focus on the coastal areas of Silicon Beach and South Bay, from Santa Monica and Venice Beach all the way down to Redondo Beach. I do not dwell on the missed opportunities, gaps or unrelated links in my resume. Instead, I relish in my willingness to bet on myself and the invaluable soft-skills such as communication, problem-solving and adaptability that I've been able to hone thanks to my varied professional experiences. I currently live in Marina Del Rey. When I'm not working, I enjoy hitting the beach, learning to surf, taking my dog on adventures, traveling, eating out, political activism, the occasional yoga class, live music, farmers markets, dancing, writing, fishing, and exploring the city. In addition to completing my studies and passing the bar, I am working on becoming a fluent Spanish speaker, finding new opportunities to express myself creatively, becoming more active in my community, and finding new investment opportunities, both in the U.S. And abroad.
