Frontend software engineer, designer, teacher, learner and entrepreneur... I'm a single-track minded individual with a knack for working the line between the minute technical details, and the visionary big-picture of a product. Having worked in multiple fields across new media, marketing, and web design & development, I have become adept at understanding both the small-scale technical and large-scale marketing concepts of digital products. I enjoy using this skill to effectively communicate technical details from developers to the project leads and stakeholders. I can then express and coordinate big-picture marketing vision into detailed, technical goals for development teams. This "center of the hourglass" approach allows both groups to focus on their strengths - all while minimizing confusion and communication issues between one another. While I'm comfortable on both sides of the line (creative and technical) I enjoy being a jack-of-all-trades: working as a go-between with differing ideas and people to help build efficient, productive teams and products.
