Nathaly Pizarro

I’m undergoing a career change into software development and have less than 1 year of experience creating full stack applications. For the past 13 years, I have worked on upstream Oil and Gas exploration, development, and production projects across Canada as a Geoscience and Engineering Technologist for Imperial Oil/ExxonMobil. My work involved enterprise data management, subsurface data integration and data analysis while supporting cross-functional teams with implementing and executing technical solutions for finding and producing oil. Beyond the technical side, I have led offsite company Geology field trips, evaluating sites, performing risk assessments, and safely managing large groups of employees to uncontrolled environments where we deepen our understanding of earth science. From February 2022 -July 2022, I completed a 6-month MERN stack bootcamp at InceptionU which launched me into making a career move into software development. I’m happy to connect on LinkedIn!
