I am working for Tyson Foods as a Regional Sales Manager. I currently sell Commodity Dark Meat, primarily Leg Quarters, into the Caribbean Territory. I originally started my career at Tyson selling fresh dark meat into Mexico and domestically. Before moving to Tyson I was working for Riceland Foods in Stuttgart AR. I was in charge of sales in Riceland’s Middle East, Africa, and Mexico Export markets. I was also responsible for overseeing part of Riceland's Private Label division domestically. Before joining the Riceland team, I finished my Master’s Degree in Communication at the University of Arkansas Fayetteville. In addition to maintaining a 3.60 GPA, I was also a Teaching Assistant where I was responsible for teaching two undergrad classes. This required a great deal of organization and planning. I was able to handle this workload with ease in large part to my previous work experience in sales. Prior to returning to school I worked for Preferred Office Products in Fayetteville as an Outside Sales Consultant for 18 months.
