Nathan Klassen

Nathan Klassen has over 13 years of themed entertainment operations, leadership, and management experience across several different theme parks, water parks, and live entertainment productions. His career began with a burning desire to peruse a successful journey in the theme park industry an area he has been incredibly passionate about since a young age. That journey commenced working in Attractions and hosting live shows at Sea World on Gold Coast, Australia. Sea World was only the first chapter of a greater story within the Australian-themed entertainment industry. Over the past 10 years, Nathan has had an involvement in almost all the Village Roadshow Theme Park properties on Gold Coast Australia. During this time, he has played an instrumental role in leading some of the park's operational successes, assisted in opening new properties such as Wet’n’Wild Sydney, and provided consultative advice with the development of SOPs and Aquatic based processes for Wet’n’Wild Haikou during the growth in Asia. Before departing VRTP, Nathan found himself leading the Operations of Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet’n’Wild Gold Coast.Most recently Nathan has started a new role as the Chief Executive Officer at Luna Park Melbourne. Overlooking the famous Port Phillip Bay in Melbourne, this historic park has been a destination for Melbourne families for the past century. With 2022 celebrating 110 years of fun-filled adventures, Luna Park continues to surge forward with a generous mix of heritage-listed attractions and brand-new thrill rides to satisfy all thrill seekers.
