Nayna Parekh

I work in the Investment and International Trade Team at Coventry City Council. My role as an Economic Development Officer is to work with regional, national and international companies, both new and existing, who are looking to invest and grow in Coventry and Warwickshire (C&W). Centrally located in England, C&W is home to major companies such as Aston Martin Lagonda, BMW, Geely London Taxi, Jaguar Land Rover, along with two of the worlds renowned universities and centres of excellence. I support a range of sectors; Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering, Automotive, Aerospace, Business Professional & Financial Services, Creative Industries & Gaming and Rail. I work collaboratively with the Department for International Trade (DIT), various Local Enterprise Partners (LEPs), universities and private companies and organisations to highlight sector strengths of the region. I also work closely with various commercial property agents to keep abreast of market trends to support investment and expansion enquiries. A few of my successes include: managing and arranging automotive dinners, producing marketing materials for Mipim (the world’s largest property show), managing international investment enquiries/visits and individually representing C&W at the Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS) World Congress in Singapore.
