Ndianabasi Udondian

Ndianabasi is an Agricultural Economist, a certified expert in digital finance, an SME expert, published researcher, seasoned banker and an analyst. She currently works as a Business Analyst in the United Bank for Africa, contributing data-driven insights to drive the following business verticals: Cards, SME, Remittance, Agency Banking, and Personal Banking. Her work covers the Nigeria Business and the subsidiaries in AFrica. Prior to this, she worked as lead, SME advisory for Wema Bank, Nigeria, where she piloted many initiatives that have contributed to the growth of Nigerian SMEs. She developed the framework on which the SME advisory program was built, and instituted many initiatives that accelerated the growth and success of the SME business of Wema Bank. In 2020 for instance, Wema Bank won the Business Day’s SME Bank of the year award, and then went on to receive recognition from KPMG as a leader in Customer Experience in the SME segment in 2021. Before her career in banking, Ndianabasi worked as part of a team of think tanks, providing research-based insights to aid the work of development partners in Nigeria. Some of the projects she conducted include the political economy study of trade policy in Nigeria for DFID, and a capacity and skill gap analysis of the Benue state ministry of agriculture and its parastatals for UNDP. Ndianabasi is passionate about development and widespread eradication of poverty in the African continent.
