Neal Nesbitt

I am a mathematician, programmer, drafter, field tech, and general Jack of all trades. I have professional experience in software, academia, wet labs, plants, drafting pipe lines and adaptive 3D parts, as well as working with a variety of materials in the shop. I program fluently in C and C++ up to about C++13 or so, and I like using Vim on Debian, but I'll settle for VS [Code] or Windows. I'm also fluent in MATLAB or the Octave equivalents, but try to avoid them for anything but off-the-cuff needs. Since I've been programming since there were Nintendo emulators, I'm dangerous, but not terribly competent in a variety of languages. For languages I'm competent, but not terribly fluent in: Python, Java, Java Script, R, and VBA are my secondary gotos. I was raised on a childhood of woodworking, programming, soldering, and building and fixing computers myself. I love to cook for my family, rock climb, snow board, swing dance, and scan the airwaves with my ham radio. I play duplicate bridge, backgammon, poker, and beat hot iron with a hammer. The list continues to grow. I hope to solve your problems however I can, always with a smile and a handshake.
