I am a Partner in McKinsey Transformation where I lead our Nordics Practice. I have undertaken numerous large-scale transformation programmes across variety of sectors, including upstream and downstream oil & gas, mining in continental Europe and Nordic countries, and construction and building-materials businesses in the Middle East and Africa. My experience in transformation and restructuring has included the following roles: • co-Chief Transformation Officer for a major oil company’s UK transformation • Chief Restructuring Officer of a Nordic specialty-chemicals business during its operational-turnaround programme and the restructuring of its debt • CTO for a mining business in the Nordics, accelerating the ramp-up of operations following its acquisition out of insolvency • board member and COO for a regulated UK financial-services business established to wind down the assets of a global banking institution following its Chapter 11 insolvency Prior to joining McKinsey, I was with Barclays Capital and Bank of America where I was involved in leading negotiations for a number of high profile refinancings. Assignments included Teesside Power Limited and the financial restructuring of MyTravel Group, the UK holiday tour operator.
