Neil Jobling

I am a polite, honest, 33-year-old, hardworking professional, who knows how to manage workloads and gel with others around me. I live in Bradford and have a clean driving license. I am currently in a transitional point in my life where I want to get out of a role I have been in since I left college. I have spent this time working in the butchery industry working for small and large businesses. I have managed small to large teams in this time, designed successful products and learnt all the butchery skills from breaking down carcasses to table ready cuts, to sausage production and bacon curing. However, I did have a business for 5 years from home where I fixed iPhone’s, iPad’s, and repaired laptops and desktops, which also included building custom gaming towers. I have been building desktops since 2004, and have built a few dozen over this time, encountering a variety of issues so I have a good familiarity with building, repairing and problem solving. I have learnt many skills in my working career that I believe I can adapt to any business and will be a great member of any team. I excel in time management, working either in large/small teams, independant working, and team management. I have worked in fast-paced environments all of my working life, on my feet for 11 hours a day at times with very little breaks. I have over 15 years-experience, working with customers, suppliers, dealing with complaints, enquiries and price negotiations. Iv repaired and serviced butchery machinery in workplaces and sourced new parts. I also inputted data and programming into till systems and used windows office programs for the paper work, and using Adobe photoshop for the advertising. In my spare time I have been learning computer coding to increase my knowledge in this area as it of great interest to me. I have a solid understanding of the hardware aspects from my time spent building and repairing computers. I pride myself on being adaptable and having a quick learning ability. I have a passion and a drive to get into the computer industry. It is in my spare time that I have learnt most of my computer knowledge, including phone and tablet repair. I am mainly self-taught with some help from friends in the computer and data industries. I have used computers my whole life and used Excel in A level ICT alongside all of the other office programs, so I have a strong understanding of Microsoft office. I have also used photoshop and video editing software’s, either for work or for my own personal use as I upload my Go-Kart racing to YouTube.
