Nellie Butler

I’m currently a store manager and captain of our district’s manager assessment process. I’ve also recently taken on the captainship role of our district’s Diversity and Inclusion program. I earned my Associates in Communication with a 4.0 GPA and am in the process of working on my Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis on Organizational Communication, and also a minor in Business Administration. I maintained a 3.95 GPA in that pursuit while working full time at Ross Dress for Less. I like to research, learn, educate/train, and help others. Building bridges of understanding between individuals and groups is my passion. My volunteer work includes starting the social media pages for Kay's Creek Elementary when it opened as a new school in 2015, where I was the chair for Public Relations on the PTA from July 2016 until May 2019. I kept the community aware of school and PTA happenings, started the school newsletter, aided in fundraising, and helped in the planning of school and PTA events.
