“A Quitter never wins, and a winner never quits.” — Napoleon Hill I believe that failure is part of life. It is the best way people learn and become the best version of themselves. However, many people don’t feel this way. They see any slip as a failure, and some are even so effected by messing up that they stall out…they quit. I think you should always keep fighting, keep your goal in sight, and eventually, you will reach it. So for me, failure is a part of success, and I let this concept guide me and give me confidence as I move into new areas and take on additional roles. Especially as I have assumed more analytical responsibilities such as compiling, interpreting, and reporting on financial, operational, customer pattern, product success, and business data. As an analyst, I will combine my degrees with hands-on industry experience to help companies understand key things like how to better engage/attract customers, why customers pick one product over another, how to tell what product or what market will be a win, and ultimately, how to get customers to spend more money with your company. Unlike many people, I actually love data and excel in working with large data sets. I always take a fresh approach or provide a creative solution…something others haven’t thought of. But I also ensure my results/recommendations are accurate and useful. I can work autonomously but prefer being in a cross-functional team that encourages new ideas and recognizes hard work. And what really keeps me going is knowing that I have contributed to my team’s, department’s, employer’s success. Even if that means I have to eat some lemons.
