Nesar Ahmad Naiel

I am an experienced Electrical Engineer with over 11+ years of professional experience in the field. I began my career in October 2010 and worked until May 2019 at INTEGRATION environment & energy GmbH, a German Consultant Firm. Throughout my tenure, I held various positions including Electrical Engineer, Monitoring Electrical Engineer, Managing and Supervising Electrical Engineer, National Technology Consultant, and Deputy Team Leader. My responsibilities encompassed the engineering phase, including survey and design, as well as the construction, erection, and installation of renewable energy projects such as hydropower plants, PV plants, off-grid solar systems, power distribution systems, high-voltage transmission lines, and substations.Following my time at INTEGRATION, I joined Tetra Tech Engineering and Consulting Company in Kabul, Afghanistan, from May 2019 to November 2021. I served as the Deputy Construction Manager for the USAID Engineering Support Program, where I contributed to the construction, erection, and installation of the NEPS-SEPS program. This project involved the establishment of a high-voltage transmission line connecting the northern and southern regions of Afghanistan.In terms of my education, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (B.Sc.) from Kabul Polytechnic University in Afghanistan. Furthermore, I have obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Power Transmission and Distribution operation and maintenance from PSTI/NPTI in Bangalore, India.
