Newman Amadi

Newman is a detail-oriented Software Engineer who enjoys building well-thought-out solutions using the .NET platform. As a C# Engineer with Axxess/Cavista, he works on the Interoperability Team, building and maintaining Web services/APIs as well as integrating the acclaimed Axxess Home Health solution with external services. Previously, he worked at Xceed365 Limited (formerly AlliedSoft Limited) for 2 years, as a key contributor to the cloud-based Xceed365 HR Management suite. He also built solutions at FuturePlus Technologies, BusinessArchitects Limited and Alpha Consortium Limited using the .NET Framework. Asides from application development, Newman is a seasoned teacher with a passion for supporting aspiring software engineers. As a technical trainer, he was the Bootcamp Facilitator (and later Lead Facilitator, Developer Selection) at Andela for about 4 years. He subsequently served as Learning Lead at The Bulb Africa, and occasionally doubled as a trainer for the C# / .NET stack. Newman holds a Higher National Diploma in Computer Science from Yaba College of Technology, Lagos. He is a Microsoft-Certified: Azure Fundamentals holder. He also obtained a Certificate of Training in Java Programming from FirstLogic Institute, Lagos.
