Nhu Tran

Nhu never gets old because she is always "new"! She is a consummate communications professional with a focus on internal communications and publication design. Her journeys have led her to the worlds of nonprofits, performing arts, and renewable energy with a proven track record of successful strategies and complex, large-scale projects. Nhu is currently the Senior Internal Communications Analyst at EDP Renewables North America (EDPR NA), the fourth-largest wind energy producer in the United States. She is responsible for effective communications and information circulation and collaboration between departments within the organization. Her duties include producing and delivering compelling internal news, copyediting and proofreading company materials, facilitating messages and campaigns on behalf of management, and organizing corporate events. Before joining EDPR NA, she was a paramount team player at the Grammy® Award-winning Houston Chamber Choir as the Marketing Manager, conducting various duties such as copywriting, designing program books, editing podcast videos, and implementing social media plans. Her outstanding projects include the "With One Accord" podcast reaching listeners in 40+ countries and co-producing eight virtual concerts. Nhu earned her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with summa cum laude honors at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where she was an active student reporter for her university’s award-winning student publication, The Signal, and was a recipient of a collegiate Texas journalism award twice. Originally from Vietnam, Nhu loves to embrace her identity, and she is proud to add to her company's diversity. When not wearing her work hat, she enjoys learning about new cultures, trying every one of her mom’s latest recipes, and watching soccer games with her dad.
