About
🎬 Back in 2000, watching Mel Gibson as an Adman in 'What Women Want', followed by Don Draper and the 'Mad Men', I became intrigued by the creative nature of their job. It was clear from that point onwards that I wanted to build a career in marketing. My degree in Marketing & Advertising was put to good use with a placement year in one of IBM's marketing teams. That sandwich course gave me a great platform to build a career in marketing. Before getting "stuck in", I enjoyed a year of travelling 🌎. Back in the UK, I joined DDC OS and worked across an array of roles and ever-growing responsibilities 💻. As the company grew, so did my scope. I wanted to better understand wider business disciplines and how marketing could better service sales, client success, and beyond. That desire led to roles in Business Development and Customer Experience, which helped me to develop the ideal skill set for where I now find myself, as Marketing Manager here at DDC OS, focusing on our external marketing efforts.
