Nichola Sankey

Having spent the whole of my career to date working within the NHS, Pharmaceutical Industry and Medical Devices in different roles and working with multiple stakeholders has led me to experience a very successful career to date. More recently I have joined Bayer- Oncology responsible for the launch of a first in class Tumour Agnostic Precision Medicine treatment and its associated genomic test in the North of England. Prior to this I spent time with Amgen in Haematology Oncology and 4 years working as a Key Account Manager within the Oncology division at MSD. At MSD I was dedicated to lung cancer and responsible for the launch of a transformational immunotherapy and PD-L1 biomarker within 3 different health economies (Cheshire and Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Lancashire and South Cumbria/Northern Ireland and North Wales). I am very enthusiastic in my style and approach which always has a positive impact on those around me. I believe in truly integrated cross-functional team work to support quicker access to the right treatments for patients which is a key driver for me, giving me a real sense of purpose in the job that I do as well as always seeking to do the right thing for customers, patients and colleagues. I have built excellent relationships with customers by working with all involved in the patient pathway providing educational support to ensure patients have a positive experience when on treatments that I am responsible for, this has led to gaining positive feedback always in relation to my passion and dedication always having patients in mind.
