Nicholas Apostoloff

Previously, I was the Chief Scientist at Blue River Technology where we combined computer vision and machine learning to advance the technology in the field of agriculture. I also spent 6 years in the film industry at Digital Domain and ImageMovers Digital, Disney specializing in facial performance capture, and researched real-time face tracking and recognition systems at the University of Oxford, where I also completed a PhD on video segmentation and matting. My research interests include computer vision, machine learning and robotics with application to real-world products, classification, multliple-view geometry, image segmentation and matting, real-time object tracking, object recognition systems, performance capture and facial animation.
