About
I am an event manager with 8 years of experience, primarily in soccer, organizing both local events, and tournaments on the world stage. I have managed tournaments for the Alberta Soccer Association, Canadian Soccer Association, and FIFA and was part of the recent Red Bull Crashed Ice finals in Edmonton. Most recently I lead the Competitions Team in Edmonton during the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 and FIFA U20 Women’s World Cup Canada 2014. During the lead up to the tournaments my primary focus was to transform local facilities into soccer specific venues capable of providing world class teams and athletes with a place to train and compete. Once the competition began, my focus shifted to ensuring FIFA Rules and Regulations are enforced, while simultaneously providing the teams with everything they require to compete at the highest level on the world’s stage. Colleagues know me as a hard working team player, who can always be trusted to get the job done, quickly, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Working with groups who are required to deliver a consistent product across multiple venues, cities, or countries, I understand the importance of clear rules and regulations, and how to deliver a major event, however, I am also a problem solver, who is creative and can think outside of the box. I have a BA in Kinesiology from the University of Lethbridge in southern Alberta. My contract at the FIFA Women’s World Cup is coming to a close and I am currently looking for a new and exciting opportunity to pursue. I can be reached either through this profile, by e-mail at [email protected] or at 780-690-1141.
