With degrees in biology, business, and technology management, I am constantly looking to work with innovative companies and ideas to create value for myself, my company, and the global community. My work and research experience includes working with city, county, state, and federal agencies in various capacities. These include the City of San Antonio, Bexar County, City of Austin, AACOG, CAPCOG, PUC, ERCOT, DOE, NREL, NETL, CBP, DHS, and DEA. During my time with the Department of Energy's Solar America Cities program, I worked to remove barriers in perception, policy and price. This allowed me to manage nearly 25% of the residential and commercial solar installations In CPS Energy service territory (San Antonio) to date through 2013. I also performed research projects to prepare the market for solar technology and increase the rate of solar adoption. While managing the Alamo Area Clean Cities Coalition, housed in the Alamo Area Council Of Governments, I worked to advance the nation's economic, environmental, and energy security by supporting local actions to cut petroleum use in transportation. While at Tesla, I oversaw the introduction of energy products into the North Texas retail locations and created marketing strategies to create a conversation about the Tesla energy ecosystem with customers. I currently work with commercial energy customers in San Antonio to develop an increased awareness in and adoption of targeted energy efficient technologies, strategic market development, and customer satisfaction.
