Nicholas Moss, PhD

My degree was in Medical Science, which provided a broad scientific base in physiology, pharmacology and neuroscience. This was followed by a PhD that focussed on cardiovascular disease, cell biology and discovery science. Since leaving academia, I have worked as a Medical Writer. This role has utilised my broad scientific background while developing my knowledge of the pharmaceutical sector and specific therapies. Inflammation and immunology has been my main therapy area of focus, working on products for SLE, psoriasis, psoriatic arthritis, malaria, and vaccines. This role has also involved working with diverse functions within the pharmaceutical sector, including medical affairs, regulatory affairs, compliance and commercial. I hope to further my career in the pharmaceutical sector - developing knowledge of different functions and therapeutic areas.
