I am interested in the development of social networks and citizen journalism to advocate social change movements around a number of key issues including countering digital surveillance and protecting fundamental freedoms and civil liberties around the world. Specialties: •Mature understanding of human rights, governance, international development and current affairs. •Confident managing multi-channel communication strategies for a variety of audiences. •Worked with international civil society organisations, NGOs, media bodies, political parties, intergovernmental organisations, governments and UN bodies. •Experience in creative project and campaign design and management. •Able to analyse and interpret quantitative and qualitative data, including the use of analytics systems such as Google Analytics and SEO reports, as well as packages such as STATA. •Confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. •Confident creating and maintaining websites and social media campaigns. •Completed campaign and policy training with Open Rights Group London in 2015 •Contributed articles to Index on Censorship, Open Democracy, The Groucho Tendency & LeftCentral. I am a regular contributor to Index on Censorship.
