Nicholas Yeager

Hi! I'm Nick Yeager, currently a third-year medical student at the Indiana University School of Medicine in Bloomington. Additionally, I am a Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force Reserve on a Health Professions Scholarship. In May 2021 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedicine from Purdue University. While at Purdue I worked as a Particle Accelerator Operator for the Purdue Rare Isotope Measurement (PRIME) Laboratories and conducted research in coral reef microbiomes and coral bleaching. I have held previous positions as a Medical Assistant, tutor for Chemistry and Biology, and as a Culver's Dessert Specialist. I was on the Purdue Student Union Board and served as the Executive Project Leader for Programming for 2019. Additionally, I was the 2020 President of the Purdue Scuba Club and pledged the Purdue Reamer Club in Spring 2021. At IUSM, I have been involved with the Military Medicine and Aerospace Medicine Student Interest Groups and have volunteered with the American Diabetes Association at Camp John Warvel in North Webster, IN. In 2022 I completed the USAF Operational Medicine 101 course at Wright–Patterson AFB near Dayton, OH.
