About

Working as a Grant Program Specialist for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, conducting research and preparing reports utilizing the NLEOMF's database of law enforcement fatalities. I work on several federally funded grants designed to identify fatality trends and commonalities and to further the cause of Officer Safety and Wellness. I served as the Senior Director of Security for the National Law Enforcement Museum, which just opened this October (2018). I moved to this position after heading the Officer Safety and Wellness and Research Division ; at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund. We worked to reduce the number of in the line of duty deaths that occur across the country by building more safety conscious agencies. This is done by analyzing the causes and commonalities among incidents that have led to an officer's death and then sharing that information with a wide audience to effect change. This position, including the museum is one of many here that serves to honor, and protect the memories of over 21,000 peace officers across the country who have given their lives in the performance of their duties. The new museum is a fantastic place, with incredible artifacts and interactive displays. A museum dedicated to not only the history of Law Enforcement but to educating people about Law Enforcement and what we do.
