Nick Doremus

For a little bit about my background, I graduated from the University of Houston in May 2013 with a bachelors in Accounting and a minor in Mandarin Chinese. For all four years of my undergraduate education, I participated in the university's Honors College. Essentially, the Honors College adds additional liberal arts classes while also demanding a certain amount of core/elective classes be taken at a higher level per semester. During my sophomore year, I participated in a group project where we were tasked with finding new and inventive ways to design our business school's career website. In the group, I was in charge of setting meeting times, reminding everyone of their specific responsibilities and creating a Power Point that explained our changes for the website. The group project was successful! For my senior year, I participated in advanced master classes related to accounting and plan to get my master's degree in the near future.
