Nick Jones

I am delighted to have joined the Chamber and Participation Team at the House of Commons in November 2022. I have worked extensively with young people, especially in youth justice and maintain a keen interest. Presently, I am Chair of Governors of a London primary school in a challenging setting I am an experienced Meditation practitioner with a deep interest in spirituality and well-being; I am part of the Benedictine movement and an oblate of Ealing Abbey; I have been an Anglican priest for nearly 30 years. I am fully trained as a Restorative Justice facilitator and have a research interest in this aspect of Criminology. I am also a prison volunteer. I am an LGBTQ+ ally and supporter of equal marriage. I am a Latinist with a passion for the works of Cicero and for Roman History. I am a keen amateur runner and have recently won awards at 800 and 10000 metres. In November 2022, I finished 1st in my age category at the Marlow Half Marathon. I run for Metros Running Club and Harrow Athletics Club.
