Some people don't like talking about work. I love talking about work because I really enjoy what I do, and am constantly trying to learn more. I'm a risk guy. Every bank makes money by taking risk. My job is to ask questions to ensure that we're taking the right risks - avoiding some and optimizing others. As ENB's Chief Risk Officer, I oversee the second level of defense including Internal Audit, Insurance, Loan Review, Security, Info Sec, and Compliance. My goal is to help everyone at the bank understand the role they play in risk management. I also enjoy the advocacy piece of banking. Part of my role at ENB is managing the bank's advocacy efforts, working with state and federal legislators along with our state's banking association. In my downtime, I love spending time with my wife and three kids. When I’m not running after my kiddos, I run around town, working towards running a marathon in all 50 states (I’m up to 26!!). Traveling to so many different places across the US has allowed me to meet some great people and gain many wonderful experiences. I enjoy meeting new people and learning from those with different experiences and backgrounds.
