Nicholas Kovacevich

Nick Kovacevich recently stepped down as CEO to become the Chief Corporate Development Officer of Greenlane Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: GNLN), a leading provider of ancillary cannabis products and accessories. Prior to Greenlane, Kovacevich was the CEO and Chairman of KushCo Holdings, another cannabis industry pioneer, which sold to Greenlane in September 2021. Kovacevich became CEO of KushCo in 2014 when the company was primarily a packaging provider, doing less than $2M in annual sales and employing less than a dozen team members. Under his leadership, the company expanded dramatically, growing revenues between 100-285% for five straight years, while diversifying its offering across four unique categories. Before being acquired by Greenlane, KushCo was one of the largest ancillary cannabis companies in the US, with nearly $115M in sales in fiscal 2020, over 100 employees, and operations in numerous states and three countries. Kovacevich graduated summa cum laude from Southwest Baptist University, where he was also the captain of the men’s NCAA II basketball team. After college, Kovacevich began an entrepreneurial career which led to founding several successful businesses including KushCo and BigRentz, a leading online equipment rental company. Kovacevich is a member of the Board of Directors at BigRentz and at Unrivaled (OTCQX: UNRV), a public company operating multiple cannabis retail and cultivation sites in California. In April 2020, he was appointed to California’s 32nd DAA Orange County Fair Board by Governor Newsom.
