Nick Mondou GAICD, MBA

Nick is an established CEO, Board Member, Strategist, Industry Engagement Specialist and Entrepreneur with over 20 years of progressive operational and advisory experience. Following an internship with Merrill Lynch in the US, Nick joined the Deloitte Consulting graduate development program in the U.K, during which time he worked as an analyst on a number of public and private sector consulting projects. He then left Deloitte's to join BAE Systems as a Commercial and Procurement manager, working to support the world’s largest defence export contract in Saudi Arabia. Transitioning into the BAE Systems Corporate Strategy team, Nick then spent a number of years building his Strategy, Sales and Marketing experience, before moving to the Australian business to assume the role of Head of Strategy & Planning, running a team responsible for strategic reviews, corporate business planning, mergers & acquisitions and corporate capability development. Nick went on to work in a number of senior Business Development and Project Management roles for BAE Systems Australia before joining Raytheon Australia at the start of 2008, as Director- Strategy & Business Development. Whilst at Raytheon, Nick spent just over two years helping drive Raytheon’s ongoing growth plan in Australia and the US. This included holding the role of Industry Development Director which saw Nick take responsibility for all of Raytheon’s small and medium sized enterprise (SME) company engagements.In 2010, Nick established duMonde International (“duMonde”), a boutique Australian consulting and advisory firm with the goal of helping its clients to continuously improve and grow. duMonde has a unique understanding of the Australian and International defence environments and provides market-leading expertise across the areas of Strategic Planning and Business Development, Industry Engagement and Professional Development programs.
