Nick Shaw

I am a Civil Engineer with over 30 years’ infrastructure and civil engineering experience, specialising in bulk earthworks, concrete structures and civil infrastructure. I’ve held key management roles managing small and large-scale projects up to $200m in Australia,South Africa and Overseas I am currently the Construction Senior Project Manager and Bid Manager for the BGC Contracting Queensland Office. I am responsible for leading all aspects of work winning for Queensland’s major infrastructure projects including client engagement, developing and implementing strategies to win, leading bid teams, contracts and consultants. I am a hands-on leader and committed to building high-performing teams. I have a particular strength in forecasting and programming accurately and sourcing the appropriate resources well ahead of time to deliver projects safely, on budget and on time.
