When I realized I wasn’t cut out to be a pro baseball player, I set my sights on marketing. Since then, I’ve run the Canadian ecommerce site for a global fashion brand, managed a multimillion-dollar email marketing program for Canada’s largest food retailer, led 1-to-1 marketing on the biggest loyalty rewards program in Canadian retail, headed loyalty marketing and analytics at the top movie theatre chain in Canada, and worked agency-side including serving a client roster of Fortune 1000 companies and directing CRM strategy at one of the Big Four agency groups worldwide. Today, I oversee digital marketing at a top-10 Canadian insurer. I help companies deliver better customer experiences to drive better business outcomes. I do this by helping organizations connect the dots, unlock the value of data, get the most out of their MarTech, lay the groundwork for sustained success, and think and act more strategically. Here’s how my mangers and colleagues describe me: Someone who “gets it.” A big picture thinker. Real. Calm. Tall (just kidding). Funny. My secret sauce: Keep it simple.
