Nick Tafoya

I am serving in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer. I began my career in the Field Artillery and was assigned to my unit's Quick Reaction Force in charge of perimeter security. Static security was our main responsibility as well as securing sensitive information and items internally at battery command. I was also assigned to the Advanced Party, where our role was to travel the planned route of a unit movement and perform detailed site survey and chart possible choke points and alternate routes of travel. I am extensively trained in convoy movements and security techniques in a convoy movement. I also served on the US/Mexico border in operation Jump Start where I did reconnaissance missions to find possible routes used by illegal immigrants and drug cartel and was responsible for coordination of local, state, and federal law enforcement, military, border patrol, and civilian contractors to ensure mission effectiveness. I have been further trained by Trojan Securities International in PSD and executive protection in hostile environments.
