Nick Wansey

The past 24 years as a dedicated teacher, has enabled me to establish a number of skills which I believe are very strong. I have held many positions of responsibility during my career, including Head of Department, Director of Sport and Head of House. These roles have seen me serve on a number of committees and establish me as a senior member of the academic staff. Whilst a majority of my time has been in education, I have been able to develop many skills which I believe would be useful in a variety of work environments. In 2013, I had the opportunity to explore other work opportunities and I was fortunate to secure work in asset protection for Corporate Protection Australia on the Van Oord Dredging International Joint Venture (VODI JV). The VODI JV project was the dredging of the Western Basin for the construction of one coal berth for the Wiggins Island Coal Terminal in the Port of Gladstone. This experience has encouraged me to continue to strive to find challenging roles in whatever sector my skills may be applied. My current role is Sport Coordinator at Oxley College, Bowral.
