As the Head of Thalia Digital Retail Solutions, I lead a profit center for Thalia Bücher GmbH, the largest bookstore chain in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. My mission is to create tailor-made digital products and experiences that inspire people and help retail companies to successfully position themselves in the new digital world of retail. With over 25 years of experience in the retail and e-commerce industry, I have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that digital transformation brings to both B2B and B2C markets.I am a performance-driven and customer-centric leader, who leverages my expertise in strategy execution, sales and marketing, and data insights to drive revenue growth and brand awareness. I have a proven track record of scaling and transforming commercial operations, anchoring sales methodology, recruiting and leading teams, and aligning OKRs with the corporate vision. I have also been involved in various omni channel, organisation, and change/transformation projects as a strategy consultant and project manager for Tier1 retailers. I am passionate about empowering teams and fostering profitable relations with customers and partners.
