Nico Van den Bosch

Digital effects supervisor with 20 years experience in visual effects and 3D animation for feature films, commercials, and special venue projects. With strong roots in software engineering and VFX pipeline development, which later evolved into work as a CG artist and a subsequent leadership role in production. Rarely are the demands of two projects the same, and my contributions adapt to those changing demands: from strategizing on long-term production pipelines and leading crews on large-scale features with as many as 300+ artists, to working "on the box" to develop custom tools and workflows, solve esoteric technical issues, and assist with problem shots on smaller projects. Particularly adept at bridging the communication gaps between technical staff, artists, production management and clients and avoiding those common pitfalls and potentially costly misunderstandings that frequently arise.
