Nicole Alvarez

I have a technical degree (3 years and practice) in digital and traditional Illustration (2012) and a Bachelor's degree in Visual Art Pedagogy (2019). I started as a 2D illustrator for E-Learning (Flash animations) and a storyboard illustrator assistant (After Effects advertising animations). In 2012-2015 I had the opportunity to work with an important Editorial group (SM Ediciones) where I made educational illustrations for school books, developing a children book style according to the requirements of the publishing house. In 2014 I joined a Secondary School as the School's Art teacher and studied pedagogy while I was working. I took this opportunity to expand my knowledge in the educational area and grow my teaching aptitudes. I worked there for eight years until 2021. I have an excellent ability to adapt my style to job requirements and learn fast. I know about digital painting and design (Procreate/ Vectornator/ Adobe Photoshop/ Illustrator/ Indesign) and traditional techniques of illustration (pencil drawing/watercolour/gouache/acrylic). Also, I know the principles of traditional and digital animation and video editions. Skills: - High disposition to learn company processes and adjust knowledge that could be necessary. - Excellent searching technological solutions, advanced skills in office software and design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, Indesign, notions of Video edition and After Effects, and I am open to learning more). - Quick learner of another language, autodidact intermediate level in English. - Good qualities of organization, responsibility and punctuality in deadlines. - Easygoing in teamwork, leadership attitudes and excellent analytical skills. - Facility with writing skills, usually I wrote my own articles on my website, about art and culture. - Creative and proactive.
