About
My passion is using data to tell the story of how an organization's programs are changing lives. From creating measurable and meaningful data collection and progress monitoring tools during my 17 years as a special educator to developing easy-to-implement program evaluation options and materials for small non-profits, my goal is to utilize effective research methods to help organizations develop new programs, improve existing programs, and document the success of their projects to relevant stakeholders. Highlights: Completed a doctoral dissertation utilizing survey research methodology, including item development, pilot testing, participant recruitment, and statistical analysis. Created materials for non-profit program evaluations, including intake surveys, client and staff surveys, and evaluations to measure the impact of programs on client outcomes. Collaborated on grant proposals for funding amounts from $1,000 to $1,195,374. Developed donor solicitation and stewardship letters and materials, including direct ask campaign emails and donation thank-you letters. Conducted a literature review on suicide prevention training for special education professionals with a team of four researchers, which was presented as a poster session at the Annual Conference of The American Association of Suicidology in 2018.
