About
Training, upskilling, and developing the workforce is the best investment you can make in your organization. It increases retention, engagement, innovation, and your bottom line. With a focus on opening career pathways for all, I help organizations develop training and career pathway programs that work for both employer and employee. I'm the queen of pilots and pivoting. During my 3 years at Skills I've helped create and pilot over a dozen different programs, and am known for creating clarity and buy-in across employer partners, recruiters, and internal stakeholders, and for creating programs that participants love. (Data shows it!) I currently develop and oversee 12 different training programs for Skills for Chicagoland's Future. We work with Fortune 500 companies, Community Based Organizations, and Schools to develop career pathways and training programs for residents on the South and West sides of Chicago and take an iterative approach to programming where we fail fast and fail forward to create programs and curriculum that work. I love creating customized curriculum for each program, developing a structure that fits in budgets and available time, and training on Zoom, self-paced, or in-person. My background in regional training, recruiting, and association management helps me understand the nuances required to create these programs. And my passion for increasing access and pipelines for quality jobs is what keeps me focused and motivated.
