Nicole Milos

As a Chicago attorney with extensive litigation and insurance experience, Nicole's practice focuses on insurance law and compliance. Her skills extend to insurance coverage analysis, policy drafting, contract preparation and review, project management, corporate and compliance counsel, and emerging risk assessment. Her expertise extends to liability and property exposures, and insurance solutions. Nicole is an experienced litigation attorney handling a diversity of matters involving tort, contract, construction, professional liability, insurance coverage or fraud claims in both state and federal courts. Her experience extends to the representation of clients in pre-suit negotiations and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings including mediation. She also served as general outside counsel. In that capacity, she offered recommendations related to risk management strategies, contract drafting and negotiations. Selection and oversight of matters involving employment claims, contracts, financial disputes, insurance, fraud, tort, mediation/ADR, privacy, GDPR and general litigation. She developed policies, procedures and protocols that comport with the client's brand and minimize liability. Nicole serves as the President of the Advisory Counsel for the Pro Bono Network, Executive Committee Member of the Illinois Defense Counsel and member of DRI. Nicole has been awarded the IDC Volunteer of the Year and was recognized for her many outstanding contributions including serving on the Board of Directors, serving on the Committee Structure Initiative (CSI), serving as chair of the Tort Law Committee, and helped to guide the creation of the IDC's publication, the Survey of Law and the IDC Practice Series.
