I am an experienced Marine Biologist with a demonstrated history of working with fish and invertebrates species in captive care. I am highly skilled in animal husbandry, Scuba diving, positive client relations. Proven to be a self-motivated team player, I possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and direct others in a supportive, cooperative team environment. I am known to have an inquisitive nature, and passion for fish and marine mammals. Highlights of my qualifications include: Research • Demonstrated knowledge in the husbandry of salmonids in a research environment • Provided technical support for research based sampling; collecting length, weights and Visual data of individual fish for researchers • Experienced in tagging and clipping fish for hatchery release • Strong passion for animal welfare Wildlife and Conservation • Demonstrated knowledge of North Pacific marine and freshwater wildlife through animal husbandry, field collection species identification, and marine mammal observations • Participated in remote fieldwork around the Great Lakes in Ontario.
