Nicole Prezzano

As a recent nursing student, with over 600 hours of clinical experience at the University of Rhode Island, I have had the opportunity to practice and excel in a nursing home, medical-surgical, maternity, psychiatric, pediatric, leadership, and community environment. I have also had the opportunity to work on a Dedicated Education Unit (DEU) where I worked one on one with a nurse preceptor, taking on most of her nursing responsibilities for a 12 hour shift each week. I would like to take my knowledge and experience into practice as a Registered Nurse after recently graduating with a BSN from the University of Rhode Island. I am currently a member of Sigma Theta Tau International: Honor Society of Nursing, a member of Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, and a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. I grauated from URI with a cumulative GPA of 3.9 and have been awarded on the Dean's List for all eight semesters of my college career.
