Niels P C Knudsen

I have had the pleasure serving in a top professional tactical and operational elite unit with highly skilled and highly motivated leaders, colleagues and partners. An environment where I have seen the value and developed a great penchant for coaching and delegating responsibility, seeing people grow with the task. As part of my employment in PET I have since 1993, in Denmark and abroad, assessed, evaluated and advised private companies, government agencies and critical infrastructure - including maritime installations - for physical and personal security. Through the years I have held a variety of strategic advisory services and have been responsible for the development of employees and managers for the prevention and handling of crises. The main aim has been to do things smarter, more agile and more professional through focused advisory and effective training across institutions, cultures and borders, under the motto "keep it simple" - because that is what we understand and remember when we act under pressure. In 2015 I left safe haven and joined corporate security world. Here I have had the pleasure building new security organizations and structures, using experience and best practice, but also with a great focus on developing new ways of doing things. It has been a very exciting, developing and very educational journey. Nice to experience that professionalism and dedication are present in corporate world.
