This is not your typical LinkedIn summary. If I am worth the time to read this, then you deserve to know more about me than just my skill set. 'All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them' - Walt Disney Growing up, I was probably quite insecure. Living life in a protected bubble was comforting, and yet the shy kid was always curious to know what was outside. Anxious, yet curious to know what would happen if he dared to do what his instinct begged him to do. When he won his first big competition, he realized that his desire to keep moving forward outweighed his wish to return to his comforting bubble. This, there I was, here I am - someone who wants to keep learning and moving forward. Someone, for whom, curiosity is a big driving factor. After a meteoric rise in school, what could go wrong in life? Apparently, a lot. A drop year after a failed IIT attempt and another failed IIT attempt landed me in an institute I didn't want to join to study a course I didn't want to study. After the initial rush of college faded - co-founding an NGO chapter, starting a college radio, the first entrepreneurial attempt, it all felt not worth it. However, something did change. I spent the next three semesters gushing over the amazing applications of Computer Science & how it could solve so many of the problems I saw around me - hostel food, entertainment engagement, etc. Had I lost my way earlier? I didn't know but I did know that I had found it this time around and I was not about to let it go. Post my graduation, after my startup pitch at Digital Impact Square eventually led to my selection in an existing entrepreneurial venture, I was thrust into the startup ecosystem of India. It was here, in Nashik, that I realized how social entrepreneurship could be a boon to society. It was another bubble-breaking experience of sorts as I came face-to-face with real-life problems (in this case, the condition of people with dementia in India). I had the misfortune to do an MBA during the COVID period. But I did learn a lot cross-functionally. I ended up majoring in Marketing and minoring in Operations and HR. That is a weird mix, but honestly, I just chose the subjects that felt interesting. I rejected MBA placements on Day 1. I wanted to join a company I liked - after all if I can't find a job for myself, what good is an MBA? This is how ended up at Loop (read more below). As it turns out, it has been another bubble-breaking experience. What do I want - It is an impossible question to answer. But we can talk about it :)
