Nikyle Nguyen

I’m a self-motivated software engineer with experience in cloud application development and machine learning. I have worked across the full stack of software architecture from embedded systems in military aircraft to enterprise cloud web applications and artificial intelligence platforms including computer vision image processing and financial forecasting. I also have experience in Algorithmic Warfare, and I'm an active Open Source contributor on GitHub. Right now, I'm a lead developer for advanced projects at Orance County Superior Court to automate the process coordination between the court house and agencies and to reduce burden on humans by using AI to process forms. My current interest is quantitative analysis, especially applied AI for financial forecasting. Even though I consider myself a pragmatic programmer, I also write research papers. One of my papers received Best Paper Award at IEEE CWCC 2017 conference in Distributed Systems track. I believe in sharing and collaboration for the advancement of the industry that I’m proudly part of. I have a B.S. Degree in Computer Science from California State University, Fullerton. I served on the Industrial Advisory Board of the school's Computer Science department to help professors and faculty members improve the Computer Science curriculum and process so that the students will be better prepared and adaptable to the demand of the industry.
