With two decades of experience, my current role is Group Chief Marketing Officer at Momentum Metropolitan Holdings, the 4th largest insurance group in RSA. Winner of the Avance Media Most Influential Young South African Business Leader award – 2018, my career path has been defined by an uncompromising commitment to delivering smart, innovative and memorable integrated marketing solutions across a wide variety of industries. I have been employed in various roles at some of the largest global companies including Standard Bank, British American Tobacco, Coca Cola, the South African Breweries and Hollard. My passions are :- 1. To transform and problem solve for brands. 2. To lead diverse and inclusive teams. 3. Deliver work that has social & commercial impact. 4. To build marketing capability. My most recent achievements include. 1. Leading a brand turn around for the largest retail bank in the African continent – Standard Bank Group. Under my leadership, a campaign entitled “What’s Your Next” changed how the retail bank in South Africa is perceived with a reported 4.4% improvement in the customer satisfaction index (largest increase of any South African Bank). 2. Successfully leading the turn around of the 3 significant brands in the MMH group (Momentum, Metropolitan and the holdings entity). Under my leadership the brands have successfully moved to the top 5 in spontaneous awareness and also shifted significantly across various key dimensions of conversion funnel. 3. Spearheading the team that renamed the MMI group to Momentum Metropolitan, a challenge the group was confronted with since the merger in 2010. 4.Transforming the Momentum & Metropolitan's marketing capability.
