Nour Jakobsen Halabi

Photographer, web developer, explorer and all-round geek. Currently my day job, and my bread and butter, is web development. With over 15 years of experience in the business, I am well versed in the trade and business that is the web. I have worked as a designer, full stack developer, backend developer, and finally as a frontend developer where I found my calling. I've been working as a dedicated frontend developer for about 11 years now, and have been loving every minute of it. I "quickly" realised that what appealed the most to me was frontend development, as I have always been creatively inclined towards the visual aspects, and I could combine it with my love of problem solving in the form of programming. I'd like to think that my inclination towards visual aesthetics and inspiring feelings through a medium, comes from my passion that is photography. In the past I have worked as a professional photographer, shooting weddings, real estate, models, and sports, but I quickly realised that it was sucking all the passion and fun out of it, so I stopped. Also because my passion revolves mostly around landscape, nature, and travel photography. Now I only do it in my free time. Still, the dream is to one day work for National Geographic and travel the world on assignments. I still get out every chance I get with my camera, and go hiking, camping, and mountaineering.
