I have fifteen years’ procurement experience, I was employed by Aberdare Cables initially in the Port Elizabeth operations and was promoted to Group buyer in the Gauteng Operations center. My role is to buy and source raw materials, spares and finished products(cables). I work closely with production, marketing, sales and distribution to ensure products are bought at the right price to maintain our profitability; right quality to ensure customer satisfaction and at the required time to ensure on time delivery to our customers. I am excellent at building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders and I possess excellent communication skills at all levels in the organization. I possess problem solving abilities and I am an analytical thinker. I pay attention to detail thus ensuring accuracy in my work. I am able to work independently and do not require much guidance. I am able to prioritize my tasks. I have completed a Management Development program with the University of Stellenbosch Business School majoring in, Marketing & Customer Service, Financial Management and Leadership. I also have a B-tech in Logistics where I majored in, Logistics Management, Purchasing Management, Business Management and Project Management.
